The Top-Selling Electric Car category is a new one for the Irish car market, with a new top-selling car, the Hyundai i30, on sale in the coming months.
The i30 is the latest in a series of electric vehicles that are in the Top-Shopping List for 2019.

Its the third-best selling electric car in the Irish market according to CarAdvice.
It has been available for sale in Ireland since March, 2019, but the price has been significantly reduced to €4,299 (€2,895 in New Zealand).
The price has also been reduced by about 50 per cent to €3,499 (€3,350 in New York).
The Hyundai i25 is the second-best-selling new car in Ireland, and it is available for pre-order at €2,899 (€1,985 in New England).
The car has a range of around 310km (186 miles) and can be driven in city driving mode or off-road mode.
The Hyundai e-Series is the fourth-best seller in Ireland with a range in excess of 300km and a range that can be operated off-roader.
It has a base price of €4.499 (NZ$5,976).
The best-selling plug-in hybrid car in Europe is the Renault Zoe, which has a list price of just €3.499.
It can be used for both city and off-street driving mode.
It is also available in the UK and the US.
